Tweetie is a wll-known sharing application for Mac, that uses the bit.ly shortening service.
Tweetie Share uses both applications to let you save and share the links that you like.
Please note that due to a limitation in the bit.ly Javascript API you must restart the browser or disable then re-enable the extension in order to be able to shorten the URLs.
