RenameScreenCaptures is a free and very easy to use Automator folder action which will monitor your Mac`s Desktop for screen capture files and automagically rename them using the old pre-Snow Leopard format.
Installation: 1. Place “Rename Screen Capture.workflow” in ~/Library/Workflows/Applications/Folder Actions/ 2. Right-click on your Desktop folder in your Home directory and select `Folder Actions Setup` from the context menu 3. When prompted to `Chose a Script to Attach`, select the Rename Screen Capture.workflow
