The current GIF support in the Finder doesn`t show animations. The Animated GIF QuickLook plug-in extends the Finder to allow QuickLook to display the GIF in its animated form.
The Animated GIF QuickLook plug-in, and a readme text file will be installed into your home directory, at ~/Library/QuickLook
To uninstall, just delete the AnimatedGIF_QL.qlgenerator from the install folder.
