sideNote is a minimalist note taking application that sits on your desktop. It is there when you need it, and hides away when you don`t. Use it to make a note, copy and paste from another application, or as a to do list.
Change the selected-note highlight color. Adjust the opacity of the background. Change the font style and size. Adjust the length and width of sideNote. Choose which side you want to display sideNote (left or right).
You decide
Click on the sideNote icon at the top and the to hide sideNote if you don`t want to use the arrow keys.
Add a new note by clicking the plus button at the bottom, or press command + return.
Edit a note by double clicking, or press return on a selected note.
Save a note by clicking the check button on the side. You can also click away too! Or, press return 3x.
Delete a note by clicking the "x" button next to a selected note.
Click the lock botton at the top to lock sideNote, so it will always display above your other windows. Or, disable lock mode by clicking on lock button again. Now, sideNote will automatically hide when you click away.
Use keyboard commands to: Move between notes = up/down arrows Edit a note = return Finish a note = return 3x Create a new note = command + return Hide or reveal sideNote = left/right arrow* *(depends where sideNote is located)
sideNote will show your entire note when you are finished, so you won`t have to scroll. All your information is right there… Like a sticky note, but better. It will also show you what date and time your note was created. You can copy and paste and sideNote will spell check for you!
