At the same time you can easily avoid possible side effects like preringing in the lower frequencies by simply changing the phase response. Needless to say, the frequency responses of all filters are exactly matched to their analogue counterparts.
The LP10 is a software equalizer with up to 10 bands and 12 filter
types per band that you can choose from. There are two ways to control the settings
of the bands:
· by direct interaction with the graphical display.
· by using the controls in the lower left corner of the user interface
Installation: An AU as well as a VST version is provided. If you choose to go
for the AU, save the LP10.component in the standard Audio Unit folder
(usually /Library/Audio/Plugins/Compononents). For the VST, save LP10.vst
in /Library/Audio/Plugins/VST. If necessary, perform a rescan of your
plugins. The LP10 should appear as a VST or Audio Unit in your host
application.
Limitations:
· The demo version of the LP10 stops processing every 30 seconds for about 2 seconds.
